Dr. Muhammad Annurdin bin Sabarudin received his degree in Dentistry from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in 2012, following that he served as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health in Sarawak for 4 years. He joined USIM as a trainee lecturer in 2016 and obtained his Master of Restorative Dentistry in Periodontology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2021. He was also awarded the Fellowship of Royal Australasians College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS) in the same year. Currently, Dr. Muhammad Annurdin is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and gazetted under National Dental Specialist registration. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in various higher institutions. Dr. Muhammad Annurdin is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. His main interest is in providing non-surgical periodontal therapy, various periodontal surgical procedures include guided tissue regeneration, guided bone regeneration, gingival contouring, laser surgery, mucogingival and periodontal plastic surgery. He also manages peri-mucositis and peri-implantitis complications by non-surgical and surgical procedures.

Apart from that, he also has been appointed as a regional committee of the Royal Australasians College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) Australia, the Dental Director of MEDICOM Malaysia, and member of various organizations which include the Malaysian Society of Periodontology, The International Team for Implantology (ITI), Malaysian Dental Association and International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Malaysian Section. His main research and innovation include periodontal regenerative biomaterials, periodontal medicine, dental fiqh, patient-centered care dentistry, and dental implantology.
